Increasing Resilience to Natural Hazards in Earthquake-Prone regions in China
The Increasing Resilience to Natural Hazards programme aims to increase social and economic resilience in earthquake-prone and volcanic regions by reducing risks from multiple natural hazards. This is a joint programme between the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC), the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC), and the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC).
The expression of interest stage is open now until 9th June 2015. See here for more details.
Urban transformations
This is a joint programme supporting projects that address urban transformations in China including one or more of the following: urban systems and hierarchies; migration and public services; land use, housing and infrastructure; inequalities and everyday life; urban environment and sustainability. This is a joint programme between ESRC and NSFC.
